TK
Team Killer'ın kısaltmasıdır, FF (Friendly Fire) açık olan sunucularda takım arkadaşını öldüren kişilere verilen addır. Team Kill olarak da kullanılabilir, bu da takım arkadaşını vurmak demektir.

Res & gL
Oyun içinde sv_restart veya sv_restartround komutuyla skorun sıfırlanarak yeniden başlanması. GL ise resten sonra iyi şanslar dilenmesidir. (Good Luck) çeşitli yazılımlarda olabilir (qL, gL gibi). "qL atıldı mı? qL atılmadı tekrar RES atın" gibi söylemlere sıkça rastlamaktayız.

Duck
Kelime anlamı çömelmektir. Oyunda bir oyuncunun çömelme tuşuna bas-çek yaparak çömelip kalkar ve karşıdaki oyuncunun onu vurma şansını azalttığına inanılır.

Death
Oyunda kaç kere öldüğünüzü nitelendirir.

Frag
Oyunda kaç kere öldürdüğünüzü nitelendirir.

Slay
Adminin bir oyuncuyu amx_slay gibi komutla öldürmesidir. Genellikle kurallara uymayan, görev yapmayanlarda uygulanır.

Slap
Adminin bir oyunucuyu amx_slap gibi komutla tokatlamasıdır. Genellikle uyarı niteliğinde kullanılır ve üzerine kurallara uymaz, görev yapmazsa slay gelir.

Görev
"DE" (Bomba kurmalı) bölümlerinde T ler bomba kurmak zorundadır. CT bomba kurulana kadar kurulumu engellemeye, kurulduktan sonra çözmeye çalışır. "CS" (Rehineli) bölümlerinde T ler Rehinelerin kaçmasını engellemek, CT ler ise rehineleri kurtarmak zorundadır. Eğer rehineler ölüyse CT ler T lerin tamamını öldürmek zorundadır aksi takdirde T ler roundu alır.

Round
Oyunda her bir ele verilen isimdir.

Maç
Çeşitli clanların karşılıklı 5 oyuncuya karşılık 5 oyuncunun belli kurallar çerçevesinde savaşmalarıdır. 2 yarılı olur. Yarılar genellikle skora dayalıdır (örn. bir takım 15 olunca devre olur T olan takım CT; CT olan takım da T olur.)

Clan
CS de topluluktur. Her bir clanın belli bir "TAG" ı vardır.

Nick
